Curio, Craft & Conjure is upstairs in a NoDa building, across the hall from a cat café. Behind its door is a shop for practitioners of magick.
Gina and Gianna Spriggs run it, and the shop describes itself as a women- and POC-owned family business. Gina is a natural intuitive who has spent her life around ritual, divination, and tarot, and she wrote The Intuitive Tarot Workbook. Gianna grew up in a spiritual, culturally open household, then went to culinary school and worked as a chef in some of Charlotte's best restaurants. The two bring that mix of curiosity and craft to the shop, which honors earth-based practices from many cultures.
The shelves are stocked with crystals, candles, incense, oils, tarot and oracle decks, and books, and much of what's sold is handmade in-house. That includes Curio Water, the shop's own take on Florida Water. They offer intuitive readings, limpiezas (energy cleansings), and classes in person and online, with a focus on ancestor veneration, rootwork, and divination. There's limited seating, so you can stay a while.
Beginners are welcome here, and the shop ships to all 50 states.
