Paints and pixels, split between a mother and a daughter. Joanna is the artist at J & K Paints & Pixels, a women-owned art studio in Clover, SC. Her daughter Katie is a photographer and also makes the custom t-shirts and decals.
Joanna has been an artist most of her life, drawing, crafting, and painting. She studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design, with a minor in music, and what she likes best now is helping other people get creative. She teaches all ages to paint and draw.
The studio runs painting parties and Sip 'n Paints, art lessons, and painting sessions, with in-person classes and online booking. There's an in-store shop with handmade arts and crafts, plus custom-made art for gifts. Mobile Paint Parties bring the paints to your place. Katie helps with projects around the studio and does some photography part time, on top of the custom shirts and decals.
