Dave's been running Ink Floyd for 20 years, and the client list is a study in contrasts: Bank of America and the Carolina Panthers on one end, a two-person restaurant startup ordering its very first batch of staff shirts on the other. Reviewers keep calling it "the local shop" regardless of which end of that list they're on.
Screen printing and embroidery are the real specialty — shirts, hats, totes, whatever needs ink on it — but the shop also handles graphic design, signage, and promo items, so a first-time restaurant owner can walk in needing a logo and walk out with shirts, too. What people mention most isn't the equipment, it's Dave himself: sourcing products that actually fit a brand, tweaking designs personally, following up without being asked to.
"We print t-shirts, but we sell momentum," is how they put it. Twenty years and a client list ranging from national brands to brand-new local restaurants says that's more than a slogan.
