Courtney's Farm started in 1980 with a few pigs, raised just to feed the family. Someone noticed how good the pork actually was, and by 1999, that backyard operation had turned into a full barbecue restaurant — smoking meat from hogs they'd raised themselves, decades before "farm-to-table" became something restaurants put on a sign.
In 2022, Gene Courtney — deep in the craft beer world for years — merged two passions into one place: Courtney's Brewery, built on a simple rule: brew what you actually want to drink. Now it's barbecue, house-brewed beer, live music, and the kind of family-run feel that doesn't happen by accident after 25-plus years.
Beef, chicken, pork, and their own catering menu for anything bigger than a Tuesday dinner. The pigs are still theirs. The beer's theirs too.
