The ChangeBaker Place is a café at 4405 Central Ave, Suite B, in Charlotte, next door to Manolo’s Bakery. Betancur opened it in early 2026, and the site describes it as a place “where coffee, community and purpose meet.”
You can order Colombian coffee and a tres leches latte, plus croissants and sweet breads from the bakery. A slice-sized portion of tres leches cake is on the menu too.
Betancur named the café after the award-winning documentary about him, The Changebaker. The café has seating areas, laptop-friendly tables and meeting rooms. Rooms start at $50 an hour, and the whole café can be rented for up to 40 guests.
It’s open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
